This week, we've been in Manchester, mostly ...
And in Manchester ...
We really enjoyed Bjrk's Biophilia ...
... And she talked to us about it, too.
Likewise Damon Albarn's Dr Dee.
And while we worried that Manchester has forgotten its musical heritage ...
... we covered plenty more in the festival, including a wonderful piece on the the role of performance art in pop.
But don't take our word for that. Take Lady Gaga's.
Oh, and our Music Weekly podcast had a Mancunian feel, too.
But we weren't just in Manchester
We also enjoyed talking to Tony Bennett.
As well as Chester from Linkin Park.
And luminaries of the British soul scene.
Because we're nothing if not eclectic ...
Otherwise ...
We regretted not going to Hop Farm last weekend.
But we did enjoy seeing the Kills play in our studio.
Remember, if you're going to Sonisphere this weekend or any other festival this summer, you can add your pictures to our Flickr pool.
And we also liked listening to the new album from Washed Out, and saw that Alexis Petridis seemed to share our fondness for it.
In other news ...
Finally, Noel Gallagher told everyone he'd be happy to have his phone hacked.
While other pop stars took a different line.
